Lets just say that my Twenty-fifth Birthday was one for the books. My birthday celebration was non stop all weekend. Friday - Saturday, there was something planned to do. Before I go into detail of all my birthday shenanigans, I wanted to thank each and everyone that was a part of my birthday, and those who absolutely made it memorable. Thank you all very much ♥
On Friday, my girls had thrown a Tropical party for me and another Taurus baby, my close friend Kristen. Her birthday was May 4th and mine was on May 8. We had so much fun just hanging out and having a good time.
Before we went to the Party, Chaz surprised me with a little romantic surprise of Strawberry and Rose. When we got to Ally's house, It was all set up like a Tropical beachy Luau. They set up and decorated tables with Sea Turtles (because you know how obsessed with them I am. They also made delicious frozen daiquiris. It was so yummy!
The Highlight of the night was definitely the gift giving. For those of you who don't know, Ally was Chazs friend. Over the last year we have become incredibly close. She is getting married Next April and has been doing a lot of fun wedding events. I have gone with her to a Bridal Show and we've talked about the wedding and I even helped her with the Bridesmaids announcements. Well, Little did I know, that for the last 3 months, everyone in our group has been plotting and betting against me to see how I would react when Ally would invite me to be bridesmaid. I was so excited and incredibly shocked that I cried like a little baby. I had no idea that she was going to include me. That to me was the highlight of the night and possibly the best gift on my birthday.
After the bridesmaids were announced, Kristen finally found out that she was the Maid of Honor, and the tears had all settled, it was time for more presents. Kristen and I opened our presents and more tears started to fall. Chaz and the girls surprised me again with the Pandora bracelet and charm that I have been wanting for a while now. I was going to buy it after my birthday, but they beat me to the punch. These girls are so good to me and I don't know what I would do without them ♥
The food that Ally's dad cooked for us was delicious. They were all sorts of tropical paradise theme food, but I am a terrible blogger and didn't take pictures of that. After dinner came the Happy Birthday's and some more partying. We had a chocolate chip cookie cake and that was gone real fast.
Overall, It was such a great start to an amazing Birthday weekend and I wouldn't have wanted to share it with anyone else. In the short amount of time that I have known these wonderful people, they have grown to become more than just friends. They are family. I am so thankful for each and everyone one of them and the joy they bring to my life.
It was such a wonderful start to my birthday weekend on Friday. I got to hang out with the most amazing friends that anyone could ask for, I found out that I was a bridesmaids for one of my best friends wedding, and I got to eat pizza. How could you top a birthday like that?
Stay tuned for night two... It might have done just that (:
