Day to Night Christmas or New Years Eve Look

S m o k e y  eye looks are life. There's nothing more popular in the eye shadow industry then smokey eyes. It will never steer you wrong. The smokey eye can be mastered in any color; black, blue, red etc. The list goes on and on. You can always pair it with different shades of lip colors for different looks, just like I did here. I wanted to create a look that you can wear at different events day or night.

For my face, I used the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in the shade Buff Beige, Cover Girl Ready Set Gorgeous Concealer in Light Medium, Benefit cosmetics the Professional face primer, the NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick. I never contour my face more wear blush because I don't believe I really need it.

For my eyes, I used two different eye shadow palettes. I used Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette, and Too Faced Natural Eyes eyeshadow palette. I used the bolder colors for the outer potions of my eyes, and the lighter shades for the inner sections of my eyes. I start off with the Inner Corner and work my way outward. I used strange for the Inner Corner and middle of the lid, Mugshot for the Outer Crease, and Dark Side for the Above Crease and Outer Lid. I also used Silk Teddy for the Inner Lid and Brow Highlight, and Chocolate Martini for the lower last line.

Day Look

For the day look I stuck with a nude lip shade. This gives a softer tone to already dramatic eyes. I used NYX Lingerie Lipstick in Bedtime flirt and I paired it with the NYX slide on Lip Pencil in Sugar Grass. These two together are a match made in nude baby heaven. In all honesty it is my favorite nude shade that I have in my collection. It dries on matte but it doesn't leave a rough crackly feel after hours of wearing it. I love the light undertone of the dusky pink hues that come through. 💗

Night Look

For the Night look, I went more mysterious 1940's look and chose a blood red lipstick. I used Rimmel London's  Lasting Finish by Kate in the Shade in My Little Black Dress. I paired it with Rimmel London's Lasting Finish 1000 Kisses Stay On Lip Liner Pencil in Red Dynamite. This shade dries on Semi Matte but still leaves a small trace of shine and shimmer. I love this look because it's immaculate for a fancy night out. Couple it up with a Sexy little black or red dress and you have the most  perfect New Years dress. ❤️

What would you add to this makeup look or how would you change it up? I would love to hear every ones opinions. Stay tuned for more Makeup looks for the holiday season coming soon! Oh and of course I had to snap chat it up <3

xoxo.
